Estimating over one-third of the world starving and of this number Africa and Asia making up approximately 40%, educating Africa and other countries about the advantages of importing America’s agriculture commodities has become vital. African Buyers Conference was established to introduce importers of food and agricultural commodities to the American marketplace for these products, and to broaden and strengthen the contacts with American agricultural industries for those companies that may already have some experience in sourcing from the United States. The campaign is ultimately working to reduce the number of starving people on the African continent.
